So well, this is me. My name is Rahel and I’m writing this blog because I care. And as I found out long ago writing helps. Sharing does too. And so if just someone from time to time gets inspired by one of the posts, I’m a happy camper.
What I do? I’m a volunteer for life. And in my free time I’m a student. At the moment I’m doing my Master in Global Studies at Freiburg University Germany / Flacso University Buenos Aires Argentina / Chulalongkorn University Bangkok Thailand. That seems like a lot, well it is. And it’s an amazing challenge and experience.
I first got in contact with Global Education through AFS Switzerland and EFIL, the European Federation for Intercultural Learning. Later I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to be part of the GLEN-Géco 2010 cycle where I made many friends and became a Global Education Multiplyer. It’s a life-long journey and I’m up for it.

Kosmos 9 is at the same time also a personal journal. It follows the thoughts of C. Wright Mills who writes: “Whenever you feel strongly about events or ideas you must try not to let them pass from your mind, but instead to formulate them for your files and in so doing draw out their implications, show yourself either how foolish these feelings or ideas are, or how they might be articulated into productive shape.”
Thanks for reading.
